Taj Mahal Hotel
Taj Mahal Five Star Hotel, Mumbai City
Known as Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, located in the Colaba district, Mumbai city. It was built by Jamsetji Tata and first opened on December 16, 1903 for the guests. The project of this hotel was completed by W.A. Chambers. It was used as hospital during first world war. It cost about more than 4 crores and was built by Tata when he was refused entry to Watsons because it was only restricted to "whites only"
